FUN FACTS ABOUT ME!!!
Justin Villalobos has been an educator since 2019. Early in the Pandemic Justin received an opportunity to be an educator in photography and analog photography at Highland High School. Since then Justin has built a program with CTE that is passionate for the arts and is helping to build young professionals within the field of photography.
Justin Villalobos graduated from Arizona State University, where he collaborated and produced many different works through visual media. Durning college Justin created many films, and ran his own photography business, where he has the opportunity to meet and create with many local artists. He has made films such as Dynasty, which was featured at Beta Festival, and The Time Is Now, which was premiered at the ASU Spring Dance Festival.
Justin also worked for the Be Kind People Project, a non profit that has its focus aimed at appreciating teachers, but also teaching kids how to be kind through Hip Hop dance, spoken word, and family engagement. Justin was apart of the dance crew and was also the non profits visual media specialist. Justin enjoys creating and collaborating with his community, and he hopes to spark more creative content with future artists like himself.

I am married to a beautiful wife that I sometimes get to photograph with and also get to work with on an everyday basis ( we meet teaching at the same High School). You can bet whenever we are together we are either working out, shooting film, exploring, or straight chillin.

I love film photography. I love the nostalgia that it brings, as well as how it makes me work harder for the shot. I love how the photo is a tangible object that you can timelessly hold again and again, and the memories of what is captured just grow ever more precious with it. This is why I love shooting 35mm, 120mm, and super 8 when I get the chance.

I love being able to explore and adapt in new environments, in fact, that’s where I thrive. Ive been able to photograph in Seattle all the way to New York. Im excited to take more adventures!!!

being that I am involved within the Hip Hop scene here in Arizona. I love the hip hop genre, but don’t be fooled I am also into country and my latin roots!!!
